Fall is here

Hello there,

How would you like the blog to turn into a Carrie Bradshaw-ish Sex and the City column?

Ha! I'm only joking. Though yesterday I was seriously considering the idea. Too much time spent on Sex and the City does that to you. But for now, I'm content playing Agony Aunt to half the world.

Moving on from Carrie Bradshaw, FALL IS HERE. Now if you consider the weather, we, in Chennai, have nothing to be happy about. We have one season all year round-SUMMER. But I can always rejoice the change of fashion. New season, new trends. Sometimes it makes me happy that fashion is so short-lived. After all, change is good..in life and in fashion.

What are your favourite fall trends? I'm so in love with navy blue and emerald green for the season. Also, leather. I just ordered me a leather skirt. Can't wait to wear it. That's the worst part of online shopping: the wait.

And did you see all the pretty statement coats on the runway? How I wish I could wear them! Then I remind myself that I live in Chennai. It's difficult to layer even with a shirt here, a coat is unthinkable!

Welcoming fall, at least in fashion, with this green maxi skirt and grey tee.

Tee: Vero Moda
Skirt: Styldrv for Spring Break
Shoes: Globus
Watch: Style Fiesta
Bag: China
Sunglasses: Mango
Ring: Connaught Place, Delhi
