Flower Child

I am a hoarder. I hoard EVERYTHING...things I need and things I don't need. I cannot bring myself to throw things away. I always have this nagging feeling that I will need it after I throw it away and believe you me, it has happened a million times. So travelling for me, as you can imagine, is always with a huge bag bags in tow. What if I wanted to wear a certain top with a certain pant and I wasn't carrying it? Wouldn't that be terrible?

Tired of paying for extra baggage, I decided it was time to give this travelling light thing a try on a four-day trip to Hyderabad. Now that I've become a pro *exaggeration here*, I feel obliged to share my knowledge here *smirks*.
  1. Plan your outfits so you know how you want to mix-and-match. Like life never goes as planned, planned outfits are mostly never worn. But it helps!
  2. Carry less denims. They're heavier. Obviously this will only work if you're travelling to the warmer parts of the world.
  3. Carry a light jacket. You never know when you need it even in a warmer place.
  4. Carry more dresses. Wear them as dresses and then as skirts like I am in this post.
  5. Still trying to figure out about the shoes.

Outfit Details:
Top: Commercial Street, Bangalore
Dress: Vero Moda
Shoes: Forever 21
Hair Wreath: Aldo

  1. Hi! You have a nice blog out there. And same pinch, when it comes to traveling I am the only one in family carrying huge suitcases filled with only clothes.
