The Pink Earrings

 I treat Sundays like it is the last day on planet earth. I have to utilise the day to the fullest and by utilise, I mean E.N.J.O.Y. and get done with all the work that I pile up the whole week. Afterall, the other six days are spent slogging my ass off in the office! (Excuse my language, please) Sundays also happen to be my 'dress/skirt' days since I can't wear them to work because the area is really bad. I really dont want to give all the shady guys there a chance to sing another song. Yes! They do sing songs like Girl you're my Chammak Challo and Oh!Girl you're mine. *Oh! What am I going to do this summers?*

So this Sunday after a small tiff with the sometimes-irritating Drama King of my life, I decided I needed a all girl's day out! (If you've read this, you know why I call him drama king) And boy! wasn't it relaxing! We..I mean, my friends and me, need to do this more often. It was a typically girly day of shopping, photo shoot, lots of laughter and gossip.

When I was planning my outfit, all I knew was I wanted to wear these earrings. I bought them some three years back and never wore them. They somehow always clashed with my outfits. So, I paired it up with this simple blue dress which, by the way, was a steal. I got it for Rs 200 (which is less than 5$). I wore it with my favourite heart flip flops, added a belt, a few bangles, carried my floral bag and was good to go :)

Flip Flops- Catwalk (Bought on sale for Rs 450)

Poets often describe love as an emotion that we can't control, one that overwhelms logic and common sense. Thats what it's like for me. I didn't plan on falling in love with you, and I doubt that you planned on falling in love with me. But once we met, it was clear that neither of us could control what was happening to us. We fell in love, despite our differences, and once we did, something rare and beautiful was created. For me love like that has happened only once, and thats why every minute we spent together has been seared in my memory. I'll never forget a single moment of it.
