Slipping into the 90's

Once in a blue moon comes a trend that is perfect for India. Boys and girls, let's welcome back the tee under a slip dress/top trend from the 90's.

It takes guts to wear a slip top/dress on the streets of India and use public transportation. We need blinders to ignore the aunties who think you are trying to lure their sons and uncles looking at you with disgust hoping their daughters don't turn out dress like you and men who think it is totally cool to ogle at your breasts and then there are always sneering women.

There have been times when I've seen men stare at my breasts so hard, I thought one of my breasts had popped out of my top. Obviously that's never happened, but it is just how conscious they make you at times. So we let that slip dress/top sit at the back of our cupboards and take it out for nights at clubs only.

But ladies, it is time to bring out the slip dress/top and wear it during the day while running errands or to office even. Layer your slip dress/top over a shirt, round neck tee or a turtle neck tee and when someone stares down at your chest, which they will, skin show or not, you can remind them where your face is without having to check if your breasts have popped out.
