Kolkata Has A New Dog Cafe In Salt Lake!

I have spent most of my years in Calcutta at Salt Lake. The worst part of living there was travelling all the way to other parts of town to meet my friends because finding a nice cafe to chill in Salt Lake was so so difficult. I love that there are finally some cool stuff opening up in Salt Lake and that is why it makes me so happy to write about The Green House today.

It's time to rejoice for people living in and around Salt Lake a there is a new cafe in town. The Green House isn't your regular cafe. It is one of the few pet-friendly cafes in town! There is a dog room with all the toys your furry baby could ever want and there are trained staff to see the dogs are having as much fun as you are. Obviously, when I visited the cafe, I spent most of my time in the dog room with the resident British Bulldog and the cutest golden retriever Casper. If you have a dog, this is where you and your doggo should be hanging out and if you don't have a dog, this is where you definitely should be hanging out for sloppy kisses from these cuties.

Not just a dog room, The Green House also has a small lounge area for hookah lovers with Play Station 4. Not a PS person, pick a board game or a book!

But what's a cafe without good food and great coffee, no? The Green House has a pretty extensive menu for a cafe. There are salads, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches/burgers and even a small portion of mains. I did a little dance when I saw they are also open for breakfast. I love me a good Sunday morning breakfast! I loved their Chilli Chicken Dry and the Peri Peri Pizza. And if you thought bars were only for cocktails, you must visit The Green House for the prettiest mocktail bar serving everything from shakes, iced teas and cold coffees to hot beverages. They even have 4 types of chai on their menu!

My favourite corner in the cafe is this pretty swing seating near the mocktail bar. Cosy and warm enough to curl up with a book and your favourite drink!
